Highly organised and creative with
prior experience of working with schools in the cultural sector, you’ll develop
and deliver an inclusive and diverse programme inspired by the British
Library’s collections and exhibitions. With up-to-date knowledge of formal
education, you’ll lead on a range of activities including workshops and events
for Primary and Secondary students and teachers at our site in St Pancras and
online, working closely with staff across the organisation.
You’ll be responsible for managing the operational running of the programme; consultation and evaluation with schools; and developing partnerships with schools and organisations. The role will focus on designing an offer that enriches the curriculum and supports a skills-based approach including research skills, enquiry-based learning and information literacy. The post-holder will have a flair for creating compelling learning experiences for students and teachers alike.
