The British Library has a rare opportunity for a Business Analyst in our Architecture & Design Team, based in Boston Spa (Wetherby), (requirement is to be in the office one day a week at present).

You will benefit from:

About you:

  • Experience of using different tools and techniques to elicit information from disparate stakeholders. Examples include workshops, structured interviews, surveys
  • Experience of taking information from multiple sources and synthesising conclusions for both a technical and a non-technical audience
  • Experience of presenting information in a variety of forms. Examples include documents, spreadsheets, presentations and diagrams
  • Experience of working with stakeholders to prioritise requirements
  • Experience of resolving disputes between stakeholders over priorities
  • Experience of organising meetings and workshops in a proactive manner
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, evolving environment and use an iterative method and flexible approach to enable rapid delivery.

It is desirable if you also have……..

  • A recognised qualification in Business Analysis
  • Knowledge of library/publishing business functions/services

Additional information:

The post holder will be expected to travel between the Library's main sites of Boston Spa and St Pancras.
