This requires a keen eye for detail, a thorough understanding of both imaging capture and post production software, and an excellent understanding of the importance of productivity and service delivery. Familiarity with Apple Mac systems and Phase One camera systems is essential as is a good working knowledge of colour management. The post holder will be expected to work under a matrix management structure with the Project Manager of the Lotus Sutra Manuscripts Digitisation Project, and work collaboratively with a wide range of colleagues from Chinese Collections, Collection Management and Heritage Made Digital Portfolio team at the British Library. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a ‘can do’ approach and a flexible and adaptable attitude to change.
